Αν και από το γραφείο του Υπουργού Β. Ελλάδος δόθηκε εντολή στο Διευθυντή της ΔΑΠ για χορήγηση στο Χρήστο Ευσταθιάδη πιστοποιητικού ότι το με αρ. 13915 οικόπεδο ήταν ανταλλάξιμο, τέτοιο έγγραφο δεν είχε στα χέρια του την ημέρα της δίκης του (16/12/1959). Παρόλα αυτά αθωώθηκε.
