The Project

About the project

"The Hellenic Mosaic" is a creative project that aims to showcase the diversity, richness, and interconnectedness of the individuals who contributed to the creation and progress of the Greek state through everyday life, memories, and photographic narratives of the global Greek community.

The project is based on the technological core (platform) of a digital photo library, which is enriched with creative and historical criteria. The material collected during the implementation of the project will fuel the creation of high-quality digital mosaics presenting the history of Hellenism, from the Greek Revolution of 1821 to the present day.

The project includes the following actions:

• Action 1: Preparation, parameterization, and operation of the HMP Information System (Platform) - Organization and Configuration of the Photo Library

• Action 2: HMP Identity Formation, Design, and Implementation of Communication Strategy

• Action 3: Technical Support, Management, and Maintenance of the Platform

• Action 4: Data - Document Feeding, Monitoring, and Processing

• Action 5: Design and Implementation of an Educational Program

• Action 6: Composition and Production of Prototype Creative Content

• Action 7: Documentation, Multimedia & Visual Arts Applications

• Action 8: Promotion Events

• Action 9: Historical Narration

"The Hellenic Mosaic" project is funded under the "Antonis Tritsis" Local Government Development and Solidarity Program, under the priority axis: "Education, Culture, Tourism, and Sports," titled: "Greece 1821 - Greece 2021."
