Title
View of the central avenue of the Votsi settlement
Description
View of the central avenue of the settlement (during the Turkish occupation it was called Yalkar, after the liberation of Vass. Olga, during the dictatorship of Grammo-Vitsi and after the post-independence Ethn. Resistance) in the direction of Finikas, at its junction with Lasani Street. In front of it is the pavilion of Paris with the homonymous stand of O.A.S.Th. On the right, a metallic electric lighting pole of the private company Petechyakis is visible and in the background the small pavilion of Kitsas Konstantinidou. At that time the central avenue was a two-way street, unpaved, with ditches on the left and right and unformed sidewalks.
