Inauguration of Leonidas Iasonidis Square

Inauguration of the square of Leonidas Iasonidis (Minister of Health and Welfare) in front of the abandoned Jewish synagogue (in today's Aristeidou Street), where the newly founded "Admiral Votsis" club was established the following year. In the centre is Metropolitan Gennadios of Thessaloniki, on his right the Minister of Macedonia, General Stylianos Gonatas (with hat in hand) and on his left Minister Leonidas Iasonidis and Gonatas' wife. First from left is Yannis Tavropoulos (small moustache), second is Kostas Tomboulis (with hat in hand). Behind Gonatas is Anatoli Συμβoulidi (with black chimney). Fourth from the right is Thanasis Zarifis and sixth is Christos Tsikaridis (with white jacket).
