Aretsou. Blessing ceremony on the boat of the Tsousis brothers

Before setting out for a month-long fishing expedition—until the moon became full—fishing boats would undergo a blessing ceremony. Likewise, the Kaiki Poseidon of the brothers Nikos, Petros, and Lefteris Tsaousis (nicknamed the Bulgarakia) was blessed onboard by Father Emilianos along with its crew before departure. In the background, the boat’s owner, Petros Tsaousis.
